Walk this Way in Tomaree National Park (FREE)

Free is the best price when it comes to a budget family holiday. But when it comes to the views of the Tomaree National Park, you’ll think they’re absolutely priceless. You can complete the Tomaree Head Summit walk, a 1km track that takes you right to the top of Tomaree Head in a medium-intensity trail-walk. Once at the top, enjoy the spectacular views of the Port Stephens area. Throughout the winter months, this is one of the best ways to do some whale-watching.

Not keen on the climb but still want to watch whales? Fisherman’s Bay and Boat Harbour are the best places to spot humpback whales as they migrate north between May and July.
